Cork/rubber materials are ideal for all traditional gasketing, fluid-sealing, and friction/anti-skid applications. We work with cork rubber materials including standard neoprenes and nitrile neoprenes, as well as SBR materials.
We are able to offer cork/rubber material certified to meet the military specification MIL C 6183

Benefits of Cork Rubber

Various economy-grade rubber cork co-polymers exist with medium fuel and oil resistance and medium compressibility. These are ideal for the automotive aftermarket and specialty gasket markets.  Moderate grade neoprene and cork materials are extremely durable with superior tensile and tear strength. They are highly oil resistant and ideal for transformer sealing applications, and other higher grade Neoprene and corks are firm with high tensile and tear resistance and low compression set.

We can also provide nitrile/cork, high quality, medium compressibility options with good oil resistance.  There are also options that specifically provide higher tensile and tear strength where needed.  And should your application demand it, there are cork/rubber nitrile sponges with excellent oil, aromatic fuel, and solvent resistance.

Various copolymer options also exist, starting with economic, soft grade, synthetic materials with superior cushioning, mounting, and anti-skid characteristics.  Grades are available that offer outstanding oil, fuel and solvent resistance under medium to high bolting pressures.

If you have a need for a specialty grade version not listed here please let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist you.
